FRATERNITY 5 Edward A. Molnár, of Lorain, Ohio, has won one of the two principal appointments to the United States Military Academy from the 13th Ohio District. He was appointed by Rep. Charles A. Mosher. Edward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Molnár, was attending Ohio University in Athens when the official appointment came through. Scholastically he was in the upper ten percent of his senior high school class and maintained an excellent record at the University also. He was chosen by the National Science Foundation to attend a mathematics course at the Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland while in Admiral Edward A. Molnár King High School and was a member of the Berg Science Seminar. He was a three-year varsity man in baseball, a member of two Youth Center State Championship teams and was selected the most valuable man on the Hungarian United Church of Christ team. — Lorain, Ohio, Branch No. 31 is w'here Edward holds his membership in the Federation. APPOINTED TO MILITARY ACADEMY APPOINTED TO THE UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY We report with joy that Kenneth M. Ture, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ture of Trenton, N. J., and nephew of Mrs. Paul St. Miklossy, our Treasurer’s wife, received a congressional appointment to the United States Naval Academy. He entered the Academy on June 30, 19o5. Kenneth, who was an honor student at Trenton High School, a member of the Student Council, home-room officer for three years, secretary of the Forum Club (Current Events) and member of the Experimenters’ Club (Chemistry), plans to major in mathematics while at Annapolis. He was active in cross country, swimming and pole vaulting. Kenneth rounded out his busy academic and sports life by being an active participant in church youth groups. A member of the Magyar Reformed Church of Trenton, he was vice president of the Young People’s Society, a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Choir and of Branch No. 20 of our Federation.
