FRATERNITY 17 75. The Secretary, authorized by the Convention, opened the letter containing the only nomination for President. The letter contained the name of the Rt. Rev. George E. K. Borshy. His nomination was, on the spot, approved by the Supreme Council. Rt. Rev. Borshy declared that he would accept the nomination. 76. The President recessed the Convention at 5:23 P. M. for 15 min­utes, while the Supreme Council would appoint the Nominating Committee. 77. The President reconvened the Convention at 6:15 P. M. 78. Upon the President’s question the Convention unanimously voted to read off the names of the members of the Nominating Committee, as follows: Nominating Committee New York District: Emil Nagy Andrew Kurimai Mrs. Helen Syposs Zsigmond Ladányi Pittsburgh District: George Kovács Michael Rezes Louis Nagy Frank Jantek Jenő Galántay Detroit District: Tibor Tóth Michael Biró Mrs. Aranka Háló Miklós Thegze-Gerber Trenton District: Imre Bertalan Stephen Varga Zoltán Szabó (Br. 373) Dezső Ábrahám Charles Kiss Cleveland District: Matthias Daróczy Mrs. Irene Benedek Andrew Szabó Alexander Marton Joseph Hegedűs Chicago District: Arthur Ludwig Árpád György Stephen Neviczky This Nominating Committee was instructed to meet at 7 P. M. to­gether with Vice President Veszprémy and the Legal Counsellor. 79. Evening devotions were led by Rev. Árpád Beretz at 6:20 P. M. 80. The President recessed the Convention at 6:30 until 8:30 P. M. 81. The Convention was reconvened at 8:55 P. M. with Temporary Chairman Rev. Árpád Beretz in the chair. 82. Rev. Matthias Daróczy reported that the Nominating Committee completed its work. Rev. Jenő Galántay, the secretary, will present the nominations. 83. The Chairman appointed Arthur Ludwig, Charles Kovács, Stephen Dókus, Rev. Zoltán Szabó and Mr. Zoltán Szabó as tellers. 84. The secretaries read the roll call and the chair announced that there were 96 valid votes. 85. Rev. Galántay and Mr. Fiók clarified the election procedures.
