George Borshy Kerekes, Secretary, reported that according to the findings of both the officers and the Supreme Council, the branches conducted the elections of the delegates to the Convention in compliance with the rules and regulations; no appeal was made against them, and thus the designation of a Committee on Credentials is unnecessary. bpon the motion of Zoltán Beky, the Convention agreed that upon the reading of the roll call, the Convention itself shall approve the credentials. 8. In spite of the fact that Andrew Hamza, the duly elected delegate of Branches No. 298. 264, 100 and 83, has not yet been a member in his new branch for a year, the Convention accredited him with 40 votes against 25. 9. The Secretary, on behalf of the Supreme Council, recommended that Dr. Alexander Toth and Joseph Urban, representatives of the church press, should be elected as recording secretaries of the Convention. For this work they would receive the same per diem expense allowance as the delegates, plus an honorarium of ten dollars per day.
