beteg alapvetően neuropathiás alkata együttesen okozhatott olyan károsodást, amely elindíthatta ezt a ritka, Magyarországon eddig csak néhány esetben észlelt betegség kialakulását. A szövettani lelet érdekessége az, hogy a retina és a retinát ellátó érrendszer teljesen mentes maradt a súlyos trophikus zavartól, amely egyébként kiterjedt a szem más részére és környezetére. Ebből arra lehet következtetni; hogy legnagyobb valószínűsége Ourschmann trigeminus theoriájának van. A sensorikus, illetve supranucleáris szférák intaktak maradnak. Aminthogy betegünknél sem találtunk pszichés zavarokat. E mellett szól a rendkívül nagy, semmivel sem csillapítható, az ismeretes trigeminus-neuralgiához hasonló fájdalom is, ami a beteget arra kényszerítette, hogy szemének eltávolítását követelje. Mindenesetre meglepő, hogy a fájdalmat tisztán szemére lokalizálta, és hogy az enucleatióval ezt végleg meg is lehetett szüntetni. összefoglalás A szerző egy hemiatrophia faciei progressivát ír le, ismertetve a szemen észlelt elvágásotokat.
