A simpl. gl.-át az első észlelésnél lehetőleg ne operáljuk. Sok betegnél ugyanis az emelkedett i.o. nyomás ellenére sem romlanak a szem functi ói. Ha a műtéti beavatkozás elkerülhetetlen, 40 Hgmm i. o. nyomás alatt cyclanaemisatiót, 40 Hgmm felett peripheriás iridectomiát ajánl. If possible glaucoma simplex must not be operated on at the first observation of the disease, because in spite of the increased intraocular pressure the eye-functions do not show any deterioration with a great number of patients. Bei vielen Kranken verschlimmern sich nämlich die Funktionen des Auges trotz des erhöhten i. o. Druckes nicht. Wenn der operative Eingriff unvermeidlich ist, so wird unter 40 Hgmm i. o.
