Kiegészítő kísérlet céljából megvizsgáltam a heparin hatását egyes gennykeltőkre (staphylococcus, streptococcus). Egy esetben sem észleltem bactericid vagy bacteriostaticus hatást.

összefoglalás

A heparin mind csepp és mind kenőcs formájában kedvezően hat a. kísérletes cornea károsításokra. A conjunctiva vérbőségét és oedemáját csökkenti, illetve teljesen megszünteti. A cornea ereződést gátolni képes. A hámregeneratiót nagy mértékben fokozza. A keletkezett homályokra és hegekre ugyancsak kedvező hatást fejt ki a kontrolihoz viszonyítva. A cortisonnal történt hatásbeli összehasonlítás során gyengébb gyulladáscsökkentőnek bizonyult. A cornea ereződést azonos fokban gátolja és kifejezetten kedvezően befolyásolja a hámregeneratiót. Kb. azonos mértékben csökkentik a homályok keletkezését. így egyes esetekben a cortisont helyettesítheti a therapiában.

A localisan alkalmazott heparin panaszt nem okoz.

Csepp és kenőcs formájában egyaránt jól használható.

Hatásmechanizmusa ismeretlen.

G. Szeghy: Local Effect of Heparine on Experimental Lesions of the Cornea.

Experimental corneal lesions are favourably influenced by heparine ointment and solution. Hyperaemia and oedema of the conjunctiva diminish or cease. Vascularization of the cornea may be inhibited by heparine. Epithelial regeneration is enhanced. As seen from the comparison with the controls, scars and opacities also are favourably influenced. Its antiphlogistic effect is inferior to that of cortisone, whilst the inhibition of corneal vascularization, the promoting effect on epithelial regeneration, and the inhibition of opacity formation, are much the same as the corresponding cortisone effects, whereby cortisone may, in certain cases, be substituted for by heparine.. No side-effect was observed. Drops and ointment are equally useful. The mechanism of its action is unknown.
