TANULMÁNYOK - Kéri Henrik: A hidasi (bonyhádi) uradalom tulajdonosai 1660 és 1740 között. A birtok betelepülése a törökök kiűzése után 323

340 KÉRI HENRIK over by János Mihály Schilson and Ferenc Kun, first as husbands then as wardens. In 1726 Schilson and Kun agreed on a division which in fact took place in 1726. The Kéthelyi-Kersnerics-Schilson part later passed through purchase and grant by the queen on the Perczel family, whereas the Kéthelyi-Somogyi-Kun part devolved through marriages and intra-familial transactions on the Kliegl and Kajdacsy families. Of the people who had fled during the anti-Habsburg wars the Serbs were the first to return. Newcomers, at first Hungarians, were settled by Ferenc Kun at Bonyhád from 1720 onwards. Their Hungarian contract could have served as a model for the later German contracts. While the immigration of Serbs was generally not welcomed by the lords, Germans were encouraged to come. The latter arrived to Tolna both individually and in groups, either because they were scared by the situation in the Banate and looked for free land under private lordship, or because as protestants they were not allowed to settle on lands belonging to the Treasury.
