Introduction
Is no doubt that the two meetings convoked by Bishop Michael Olsavszky at Carei and Satu Mare enjoyed an especially large participation due to unconditional support of county authorities and especially the supreme committee Antal Károlyi. At Carei which the representatives of the following villages of parishes of Carei and Satu Mare: Ciumeşti, Sanislău, Resighea, Andrid, Dindeşti, Irina, Portiţa, Vezendiu, Tiream, Ghenci, Istria, Sânmiclăuş, Moftinu Mic, Domăneşti, Căpleni, Boghiş, Dóba, Sătmărel, Terebesti, Pişcari, Mădăras (district of Carei), Necopoi, Giungi, Chegea, Supuru de Sus, Supuru de Jos, Hurez, Racova, Stâna, Socond, Hodişa, Gereuşa. All these places will sign a memorandum addressed to the bishop Olsavszky from “Romanians of Sânmiclăuş", which essentially contained the following wishes, resorting to feelings of Christian love of the bishop: their read mission to the Greek- Catholic church, the stop of checking the coryphaeus of the movement so that they are able to return home, the release of prisoners. They pledged towel ocome back the priest whom they will be obedient unto the Lord.120 121 The villages participating to the meeting of Satu Mare also subscribed to this memorandum on May 25, 1761: district of Satu Mare: Petea, lank (Hungary), Peleşu Mare, Noroieni, Botiz, Livada, lojib, Medieşu Aurit, Băbăşeşti, Potău, Someşeni, Seini, district of Borleşti: Apateu, Cărăşeu, Lipău, Valea Vinului, Măriuş, Moara Borşii (village that disappeared, nowadays a streer in Poiana Codrului), Roşiori, Pomi, Fărcaşa, Sârbi, Buzeşti, Tămâia, Ardusat, Săcălăşeni, Aciua, Bârgău, Merişor, Buşag, Tăuţi, Lăpuş, Cicârlău, the district of Codru: Solduba, Chilia, Homorodu de Sus, Homorodu de Mijloc, 121 s Homorodu de Jos, Medişa, Sâi, Ruşeni, Odoreu, Vetiş It is extremely important the note written by the district (deanery) of Baia Mare stating that they remain united with the Roman Catholic church but they will keep to the death the ritual of the Holy Church of the East: ”We, the villages of Baia Mare Council, declare that as we were so far under power, obedient <and> disciplined of Vlădicul from Muncaciu in a union of faith with rămleni but not under commandment of the holy church, so from now we remain and we will remain in a union of faith with them, but not in the commandment of Holy Church, but we keep ours, from the Holy Eastern Church until death". Signed by the representatives of the villages Mocira, Recea, Satu Nou de Jos, Ocoliş, Chechiş, Groşi, Satu Nou de Sus.122 The villages Şişeşti, Rus, Ocoliş, Dăneşti, Bontăieni, Cetăţele, Şindreşti, Dumbrăviţa, Unguraş, Ferneziu give power to the deputy sent to Synod at Mintiu (Satu Mare), Pricop Ion, to sign what “the other villages will do”.123 The priests were present from almost in all the areas: Carei, Ciumeşti, Sanislău, Resighea, Andrid, Dindeşti, Irina, Portiţa, Vezendiu, Tiream, Ghenci, Istrău, Moftinu Mic, Sânmiclăuş, Domăneşti, Căpleni, Curtuişeni, Merk (Hungary), Fábiánháza (Hungary), Boghiş, Terebeşti, Mădăras, Tătăreşti, Giungi, Chegea, Supuru de Jos, Hurez, Socond, Soconzel, Petea, Peleşu Mare, Botiz, Livada, lojib, Medieşu Aurit, Băbăşeşti, Potău, Someşeni, Apa, Seini, Ruşeni, Amaţi, Ghirişa, Solduba, Apateu, Culciu Mare, Cărăşeu, Lipău, Valea Vinului, Moara Borşii, Roşiori, Pomi, Bicău, Fărcaşa, Sârbi, Ardusat, Săcălăşeni, Cicârlău, liba, Ruşeni, Amaţi, Chilia, Homorodu de Mijloc, Homorodu de Jos, Medişa.124 They were absent, without any specified reasons, those from Vetiş, Necopoi, Supuru de Sus, lank (Hungary), Măriuş, Bârgău, Merişor, Buşag, Băiţa.
