It is important to know that there were just these two assemblies (congregation), a factpointed out by the bishop in a letter from Olsavszky to loanBranicson September 4, 1761 in Baia Mare: ’’Exortos in Religione per impostores Transylvanicos in i<ncly>to co<mi>t<a>tu Szatthmariensi causatos tumultus duplici (subl.n.) congrega<ti>one in eoadem co<mi> t<a>tu celebrate”. In the next period, the bishop will remain at the monastery of Máriapócs, as evidenced by the correspondence he receives and sends in here: May 27, May 28, May 31, June 1, June 5, June 10, June 11, June 25, July 14, July 22 , July 31, August 1st 1761 etc.129 He was awaiting of the imperial decree by which he was allowed by the Empress Maria Theresa to conduct a canonical visitation of his diocese, and thus became legal. What he had done in the first 20 days of May 1761 (Episcopal visits) it was quite illegal, but was extremely important in terms of salvation of religious union. 125 126 127 128 129 Ibidem. Ibidem.
