life of Satu Mare county, being rather a modest noble family, they managed to remain the most important owner of the village until their disappearance, at the end of the 18th century. After the extinction of the family, the village and its territory were divided among several noble families. The most important touristic site of the village is the Calvinist Church, of medieval origin. The building has undergone radical changes over time, only three walls of the nave being still preserved from the old building. The importance of the church as a historic monument has increased over the recent years, with the discovery of a fresco fragment on the northern wall of the nave, representing the scene of the Holy Virgin protecting the believers with a Planul bisericii.
