STATUTES

1.

The basic unit of the party is the Local Organi

sation (LO).

2.

A Local Organisation is established, if-

at least 3 members decide to found it-

the founding protocol is sent to the party s Nati

onal Board-

the Legitimation Document, after the endorse

ment of the National Board, is sent back by the

Central Office of the party.

The LO takes part in the local political life, it gets

involved through its deputies in the public life and

contributes actively to its development.

The LO is a legal entity:-

it decides independently about the questions

concerning its own functionning-

it nominates candidates to the local, regional,

district organs, to the Slovak National Council and

to the Federal Assembly-

it elects its Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Trea

1.

Local Organisations belonging to a common

administration unit (District ) form a District Orga

nisation in order to arrange matters on district level.

The supreme organ in a district is the District

Ethical Board.

1. The commision of the Ethical Board is to de

fend the party s internal

legitimity,

to remedy the

violations of the membership rights, to arbitrate

the competential questions between the party or

gans, to cancel the decisions of the Local Organi

sations contrary’ to the Statutes, (...), to submit a

proposal to the National Board on withdrawing

I.

In order to coordinate the party activities, to

assure the flow of informations and to provide an

organisatory

and executive service on central and

regional level, the Central Office of the party is es
