Political joke in nowadays Slovakia- Whom did you vote for?-1 vote for the democracy. I cast one of my votes for the former Communists so that there

be present the Left, the second for the Slovak National Party so that there be present the

Right and the third for Mr. Meciar s Party so that there be present the Centre in the Par

liament as well.

(Additional information: Every elector in Czechoslovakia has three votes: one for the

Czech/Slovak National Council, one for the Chamber of People of the Federal Assembly

and one for the Chamber of Nations of the Federal Assembly.)
