the meadows of Forrás brook have not been treated by botanists. Only Borbás mentioned a single species, Amblystegium riparium (syn.: Leptodictyum ripariwri) from here. THE STUDIED MATÉRIÁI. A systematic floristical study of the Réti-dűlő was carried out by the author in 1990-91. Mosses, pteridophytes, and angiosperms were examined. The water level of Forrás brook, especially since damming has been extremely low, hindering the collection of algae. In spring algal bloom occurs in the meadow which is inundated by ground water at that time of the year. Any study on that would remain incidental. The herbarium documentation of this floral study is deposited in the Botanical Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. 1
