Stollmayer-Boncz, Emilia: The flora of Réti-dűlő near Csömör

Map 2. Map sheet 65-241 Csömör Sz-2394/1986.IV., National Office of Land and Cartography, scale 1:10 000, base level of Baltic Sea METHODS The collection of the herbarium material and the estimation of relative abundance were carried out biweekly from March through November. More precise data were obtained by quantitative surveys on 2 m by 2 m squares in summer and autumn. These data, however, proved to be insufficient for analysis. The following units were distinguished during collecting: locust forest, roadside, meadow, reeds, and brook bank. Identifications were based on the following sources: BOROS (1953), ORBÁN and VAJDA (1983), HORTOBÁGYI (1968), and JÁVORRA and CSAPODY (1975). For the interpretation of floral elements, their mode of life, and assemblages, the manual of Soó (19641980) was used. The table of ecological parameters is based on ORBÁN (1984) and SIMON et al. (1992). Categories of nature conservation rank follow SIMON (1988) and RAKONCZAY (1989) (Tabic 1). The frequency of occurrence is expressed on a three-grade scale which is quantified for further analysis. Species occurring in small numbers or in scattered patches of the area are referred to as rare (1). Species occurring in greater numbers and at more localities are classified as frequent (5), or abundant (15) (Table 1). EVALUATION OF DATA 169 species have been identified and evaluated in the course of this study (Table 1). The flora is dominated by Hurasuin-Mediterrancan (29%) and Eurasian (20%) elements, which include 5 protected species. HV'i of the flora consists of Circumpolar elements, including
