GALAMBOS {Received November 30, 1985) Abstract: Seven moss taxa found in the Hungarian Barbula s.l. material are reported from 11 localities as new to certain flora districts of Hungary. Amongst them Oxystegus tenuirostris var. gemmiparus is new to the Hungarian flora. Revising the Hungarian Barbula s.l. material, many new data were found either due to the previous misidentifications or as accompanying species in the specimens. From this material Crossidium crassinervis (De Not.) Jur., a species of European importance has been published elsewhere (GALAMBOS & ORBÁN 1984). From these numerous data those were selected which proved to be new either from a geographical or from a floristical point of view as compared to the work of ORBÁN & VAJDA (1983). My study was based on the Barbula s.l. material in the Herbarium of the Botanical Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest (internat, abbrev. BP). Ditrichaceae Ditrichurn pusillum (Hedw.) Hampe var. tortile (Schrad.) Hagen - Com. Fejér. In rupestribus dolomit, montis Szólóko prope Csákvár. Alt. 200 m s.m. Leg. A. Boros 28.04.1953. BP 106608. (in caesp. Pidymodon vinealis ). New to the Vértes Mts. Dicranaceae Anisothecium schreberanum (Hedw.) Dix. - Com. Bács-Kiskun. In silva "Kis Rezét" prope pag. Baja. Leg. L. Vajda 20.04.1954. BP 27100. (in caesp. Barbula unguiculata ) . Only montainous localities of this species had previously been known. New to the Great Hungarian Plain (and to the Colocense within it). Both data are new to the Great Hungarian Plain. Gyroweisia tenuis (Hedw.) Schimp. - Comit. Vas. In muris in arboretis ad Szeleste. Leg. Á. Boros 10.06.1962. BP 106838. (sub. nom. Barbula rigidula) . New to the Hungarian pre-AIps (Praenoricum) . Oxystegus tenuirostris (Brid.) A. J. E. Smith var. gemmiparus (Schimp.) Zander (Fig. 1.1 - Comit. Veszprém. In argillosis silvat. secus vias inter mont.
