Háromlábú holland réz urnaforma tálcával, 19. sz. első fele, Dröppelmina Dutch copper vessel with three legs and handle at right angles, first half of 19 t h century, F&K collection remained to us from the 18 t h and the early 19 t h century. Later the wide spreading of pots of ceramics, the feverish research work around porcelain, then the re-discovery of the eastern procedure allowed the extensive appearance of an entirely new type of vessels in Europe. Of course, the way was long from the aristocratic homes' imported vessels worth a fortune to the coffee pots of simple town households. The treasure of shapes was also enriched by the fact that the porcelain manufactures, which were mainly in the hands of the aristocracy, strove for shaping a world of individual patterns and forms. One of the main reasons of the coffee's popularity in the 18 t h century was the development and spreading of vessels suitable for coffee making and for mediating the attitude to life attached to it. 81
