Zusammenfassung Der Leitartikel faßt die Vorgeschichte des Textilmuseums kurz zuzammen. Als es offensichtlich geworden war, daß die Errichtung eines Zentralen Museums für Geschichte der Technik gescheitert war, gründeten zahlreiche ungarische Industriezweige ihr eigenes Museum. Nach jahrzehntelangen Vorbereitungen eröffenete das Museum der Textil-und Konfektionsindustrie in einer alten Weberei im Jahre 1982 ihre Pforten. Infolge der Privatisationswelle wurde das Gebäude 1992 verkauft und die ganze Sammlung mußte eingemottet werden. Eine Stiftung ermöglichte unlängst, daß die barocken Gebäude der Gründerfamilie des Textilunternehmens Goldberger erworben werden konnten; die Planung des Umbaues zum Zwecke eines Museums ist im Gange. Summary The leading-article comprises in short terms the previous history of the Textile Museum. As soon as it became obvious, that the inauguration of a central Technical Museum proved unavailing, several branches of the Hungarian industry founded their own museum and so did in 1982 the textile industry in the building of an ancient weaving mill. In consequense of the wave of denationalization the bulding was sold and the collection was forced to be mothballed. A foundation now made it possible to acquire two baroque edifices, once owned by the founder-family of the Golbergertextilemill; the conversion to the purposes of the museum are launehed.
