A CSÍKI SZÉKELY MÚZEUM ÉVKÖNYVE 2007-2008 247-264 PÁL ZOLTÁN - CZELLECZ BOGLÁRKA - Kis BOGLÁRKA ­SZÁSZ ÁRPÁD - SZÉKELY BORBÁLA A KALCIUM-MAGNÉZIUM ARÁNY EGÉSZSÉGÜGYI SZEMPONTÚ VIZSGÁLATA ROMÁNIAI ÁSVÁNYVIZEKBEN Abstract: [Medical considerations on Calcium: Magnesium ratio in Romanian mineral waters] The present study summarizes the effect of these two elements on the human metabolism, analyzing the optimal amount of Calcium and Magnesium needed for normal functioning of the human body. The normal Ca-Mg ratio for intake is 2:1. The study focuses on the Ca and Mg content and their ratio of all Romanian bottled water types and of 39 non bottled natural mineral springs situated in Ciuc (Rom.; Hung.: Csfk) Basin. Both bottled and natural mineral water were classified into few classes regarding the Ca, Mg and Ca:Mg ratio, and frequency was elaborated. Romanian bottled waters shows normal distribution for Ca-content, and dominates in lower classes of Mg-content. 50 percent of Romanian bottled mineral water types are in optimal interval of Ca:Mg ratio. Non bottled mineral water of Ciuc Basin are mainly situated in lower classes of Ca-content, shows cvasi-normal distribution for Mg-content and 64% of them satisfies the optimal class condition of Ca:Mg ratio. The study tries to emphasize through triple level sorting the optimal mineral waters regarding the Ca:Mg ratio, the Ca-content and Mg-content. Rezumat: [Considerente médicale legate de raportul Ca-Mg în apele minérale din Romania] Articolul în prima fazä însumeaza efectele benefice ale celor douä elemente asupra sänätätii umane, apoi vorbeste despre doza zilnicä recomandatä pentru o functionare optima a organismului, ajungând sä puncteze asupra raportului optim dintre Ca si Mg. A doua parte a articolului analizeazä apele minérale ca posibile surse de Ca si Mg pentru organismul uman. Sunt analizate continutul de Ca si Mg precum si raportul acestora în cazul tuturor märcilor de ape minérale îmbuteliate pe teritoriul României. In comparatie, sunt analizate sub acelasi aspect 39 de izvoare naturale neîmbu­teliate din zona depresionarä a Ciucului. Comparatia a rezultat în câteva afirmatii: apele îmbuteliate din Romania au o distribute normalä din punct de vedere al continu­tului de Ca, iar în cazul Magneziului, majoritatea lor intra în categorii inferioare. Cca. 50% din cele îmbuteliate intra în categoria optima a raportului Ca-Mg.
