László TÖRÖK PHOTOGRAPHS BY RÓBERT HACK The exceptionally nice show of Hack's photographs was on view at the Basement Gallery of the National Board until Oktober 5. 1995. The colour prints, which were taken at vaious European sites, depicted, primarily, details of buildings. Yet, they were not intended to document only, these shots are very much the result of the specific visuality of a sensitive artist. Some of the photographs are, indeed, an essay on cultural history. All of the themes, even the seemingly banal ones, are picked with the secure instinct for the unmistakable and irreplaceable details.
