Our plans include co-operation with the neighbouring countries to make a joint registry of the folk houses of our minorities. The relevant negotiations have already begun with Slovak and Romanian colleagues. Folk houses or vernacular monuments play an important role in a country's life, while they may be used for a multitude of functions, they are a characteristic expression of the country's culture.
