Dr. János Kubassek: Jenő Cholnoky - a Hungarian geographer and artist - Evaluation of a lifework

scientific achievements. Today a district and a school in Veszprém bear his name. Reliefs with Ms distinctive features appear on the walls of his houses in Veszprém and Budapest, a tribute by Béla Domokos, who produced several statues in the garden of the museum in Érd. Cholnoky wrote some fifty books, made lots of artistic drawings and paintings. His works are recognised not only by geographers, but are an integral part of Hungarian cultural history.
