The few hungarian data are mostly from about 700-1000 m elevation, are originated from the Északi-középhegység and from mountains of the very western part. Rare parasitic species (host: D. sylvestris) of the mountainous and hilly areas. It is a sub-boreal-montane species according to CETKOVIC (2002).
