GmA (lfm/w). Polistes associus (Kohl, 1898) (Fig. 15.) The hungarian data are originates from between 85 and 400 m elevation. It is rare west from the lake Balaton and north to Budapest. This is in accordance with DVORAK (2006), who says, it usually occurs on flat areas, mainly south-europaean species. Mediterranean­pond Pannonian species (CETKOVIC 2002).
