The ground-dwelling fauna and within this, the lycosid spiders is a relatively thoroughly explored and well-known taxa. LOKSA and the subsequent generations' researchers were first interested in the research of the xerotherm grasslands, forests and agricultural areas. Relatively little survey were carried out on wet habitats. Sure enough, this is the reason for not founding the lycosid spider in Hungary on the occurrence of which we publish in this present publication. The Pardosa maisa has been found during the ground-dwelling fauna surveys carried out in the Bakonyalja and the East-Zala Hills' fens (Fig 1.). With help of the Barber pitfall trapping carried out at Somlóvásárhely and the Batyk Fen as well as by the manual collection carried out on two other fens in Bakonyalja (Attya and Tapolcafő fens) - altogether 235 specimens were captured. The 197 specimens collected at the one-year-long pitfall-trapping at the Holt Lake fens at Somlóvásárhely constitutes 16.4% of the whole sample. In the terms of the lycosid spiders this proportion is of 29%. The one-year-long pitfall trapping results of the Holt Lake fens completely support the statements of MILASOWSZKY-ZULKA (1997) regarding the activity period of the species. A typical spring and early summer activity characterises the species. The adult specimens appear in the mid-April. The males can be characterised by a short activity peak in mid-May and they disappear by June. The females could be captured in an ever decreasing specimen number until the end of July. The Hungarian experiences are unanimously demonstrating that the species shows a strong preference toward the fen meadows with good water supply (Succiso-Molinietum, Molinio-Salicetum rosmarinifoliae). According to a whole year sampling of the Holt Lake at Somlóvásárhely, the species being in the closest association with the Pardosa maisa proved to be the Trochosa spinipalpis, as well as Ozyptyla trux. (Fig 7.). Bevezetés és célkitűzés A hazai pókfauna kutatottságának mértéke jelentős anomáliákat mutat régiónként, illetve a vizsgált élőhely-típusok tekintetében egyaránt. A talajlakó fauna, és ezen belül a farkaspókok családja a viszonylag alaposan kutatott, jól ismert taxonok közé tartozik. LOKSA (1972) készítette el a hazai farkaspókok határozóját, melyet a keresztespókokkal közös kötetben publikált. A faunakötet megjelenése óta mindössze 6 további faj került elő, melyek többsége az elterjedésük ismeretében várható volt. A hazai fauna aktuális feltártsá-
