ÁBRAHÁM LEVENTE – DR. UHERKOVICH ÁKOS: Dudar környékének nagylepkefaunája (Lepidoptera)

LEPIDOPTERA FAUNA OF DUDAR AND ENVIRONS (BAKONY MTS., HUNGARY) On the environs of Dudar 30651 specimens of 678 Lepidoptera species were collected by light trap, lamp and by daytime singling. The fauna is rather rich as a consequence of the variegated relief, climate and vegetation. Several species which are rare all over Hungary were taken: Euxoa brunnea, Cerapteryx graminis, Cucullia prenanthis, Eucarta amethystina, Apamea «icula tallosi, Euchalcia consona, Discoloxia blomeri, Horisme radicata, Rheumáptera undulata, Euphyia scripturata, Gnophos pullatus, Phymatopus hectus etc. The number of species living in grass-level is high, with a dominancy of polyphagous ones. In the tree stratum the ratio of polyphagous species feeding also on oak i3 high. The area examined lays on the border of Northern and Eastern Bakony Mountains. The lepidoptera fauna is very similar to the one of Northern Bakony in its quality and quantity. The examinations were spread to some sites of the Eastern Bakony Mts.: to Csesznek, Bakonynána, Fenyőfő, Tés, Várpalota, Bakonyszentlászló and Bakonyszentkirály. Together with the species collected there the number of known species increased up to 900 from this region. A szerzők cime /Authors' address/: ABRAHAM Levente H-7400 Kaposvár Pf. 70. DR.
