The stronger emphasis on PR was also apparent in the production of new postcards and leaflets, and in participation in the Budapest Card discount scheme. Almost a thousand card-holders visited the Foundation’s Budapest museums. The placement of museum posters in post offices, telecom facilities, radio and television broadcasting stations and partner museums was completed by the end of the year. Scientific activity • The Foundation published its 1996 Yearbook. • A lecture entitled ‘Museum Collections in a Period of Change’ was contributed to the 249
