Conservation and restoration The museum storage space was increased by a total area of around 300 sq. m: with the stores in Diósd and in Paulay Ede utca and the purchase of the Stamp Museum storage units and shelving for drawings. We painted and rearranged the storage area at Post Office No. 5 in Budapest. Restoration completed in larger outside workshops: 24 large size maps (OSZK- National Széchenyi Library), 2 local telephone boards (MATAV Workshop in Budaörs), Polish post vans (MÁV Workshop in Dunakeszi), 2 horse-drawn, covered letter and parcel vans (Pápa Joinery Works). Our workshop restored altogether around 20 objects (telephone sets, safes, microphones, loudspeakers) and 100 documents (papers, maps, technical drawings). We started the cleaning and restoration of objects in store in the radio and television collections in Diósd.
