Comments: Skvorzov (1971b) considers, though he does not give arguments, that Molinostrongylus daubentoni Zdzitowiecki, 1970, is a synonym of M. spasskii. Durette-Desset and Chabaud (1975) express a similar suggestion. As long as the synlophe of both species has not been examined at all, we consider that the problem of their synonymy needs further evidence.
