Four trematode, five cestode, nine nematode and one acanthocephalid species are reported from Sorex alpinus originating from various localities in the West-Carpathian Mountains (Slovakia). Little is known of the helminth fauna parasitizing Sorex alpinus Schinz, 1837. PROKOPIC (1959), VAUCHER (1971) and MITUCH (1974) report some data as regards these helminths. In this paper we report the helminth parasites of Sorex alpinus that were collected between January 1977 and April 1982 in the West-Carpathian Mountains (Slovak Socialist Republic). Altogether 19 species of helminths were found (4 trematodes, 5 cestodes, 9 nematodes and 1 acanthocephalid).
