Localization: small intestine. Note: VAUCHER (1971) reported four hymenolepidids without hooks as parasites of Sorex species. He found in S. alpinus Hymenolepis diaphana Cholodkowsky, 1906 and H. tripartita (Zarnowski, 1955). PROKOPIC (1959) reported H . diaphana from S. alpinus. We found specimens of maximal length of 0.9 mm and maximal width of 0.2 mm (based on over than 100 preparations examined). Rostellar sac residium absent, mature uterus present after the 15th segment, eggs (10-15 per segments) 0.040-0.050 x 0.025-0.030 mm, oncosphere 0.022-0.025 x 0.012-0.015 mm. These features corresponds mostly with H . infirma. Note: MITUCIi (1974) reported Neoskrjabinolepis singularis Cholodkowsky, 1911 from S. alpinus, but the name in this case is a synonym of H. schaldybini (see VAUCHER, 1971). Choanotaenia hepatica (Baer, 1932) Distribution and date of collection: Staré Hory, Richtárova dolina (Nizke Tatry), 20. 7. 1977; 30. 7. 1981; Muránska Zdychava (Slovenské rudohorie) 21. 7. 1981. Localization: biliary duct and small intestine. Note: The scolex were fixed in the biliary duct, the mature proglottides were found in the small intestine. Choanotaenia crassiscolex (Linstow, 1980) Distribution and date of collection: Badin (Kremnické -vrchy) 7.12.1977; Pol'ana 20-22. 9. 1978; Turcek (Kremnické -vrchy ) 26. 8. 1979. Localization: posterior part of the small intestine. Note: PROKOPIC (1959) and MITUCH (1974) registrated this species under the name (synonym) Anomo- taenia subterranea Cholodkowsky, 1906.
