Nycteridostrongylus uncicollis Baylis, 1930 Host: Miniopterus fuliginosus (Sapa District, Ta-phinh) Localization: small intestine Three males and four females were collected from four host spe­cimens . Description: Buccal capsule with a protruding dorsal tooth. A transversally striated cuticular lobe extending between regions beyond cephalic swelling and initial part of intestine. First and narrowest section of this lobe ending at excretory pore (Fig. 5f). Cuticle with several longitudinal linear markings, consisting of minute teeth. Some of these lines starting imme­diately behind cephalic swelling and reaching posterior end of body. Males: body length 4.10-4.70 mm, maximum width 0.17-0.19 mm. Cuticular awell ing of head 0.055 x 0.062 mm. Esophagus length 0.42-0.44 mm. Distance between excretory pore and anterior end, as well as that between nerve ring and anterior end 0.13-0.15 mm. Distance of deirids 0.21-0.22 mm from anterior end. Distal­ly forked spicules 0.56-0.60 mm, main branch with a further, ill-defined sub-branch (Fig. 5d). Well developed gubernaculum 0.163-0.175 mm long (Fig. 5c). Genital cone well-defined (Fig. 5b). Inner surface of bursa copulatrix with fine spines (Fig. 5a). Ventral rays emerging from common trunk, and subequally developed. Lateral rays also emitted by common trunk, antero­lateral rays diverging nearest its base and decurrent parallel with ventral ones. Medio-lateral and postero-lateral rays bran­ching off at a greater distance from base of their common stem, former ones considerably thicker than latter ones. Slightly developed externo-dorsal rays longer than dorsal ray, latter with a forked tip (Fig. 5e). 160
