Dr. Kassai Tibor - Dr. Murai Éva szerk.: Parasitologia Hungarica 6. (Budapest, 1973)

Females: body length 5.70-6.90 mm, maximum width 0.20-0.23 mm. Cuticular swelling of head 0.052-0.062 x 0.055-0.068 mm. Esophagus length 0.40-0.50 mm. Distance between excretory pore, as well as that of nerve ring and anterior end, 0.14-0.17 mm. Deirids not detectable . Vulva opening at 1.70 mm from posterior end. Tail length O.O56-O.O8O mm. Tail tip with three conical (one dorsal and two subventral) and two small, lateral processes, and with a terminal spike (Figs. 5g,h). Eggs 0.095-0.10 x O.O5O-O.O53 mm. The species was described as a parasite of ? Miniopterus sp . from Australia by BAYLIS in 1930. It was found by THOMAS, in 1959, in Miniopterus blepotis, also from Australia. Contrary to the description by BAYLIS, the medio-lateral rays of the bursa are thicker than the postero-lateral ones, and the gubernaculum is well chitinized in our specimens. However, these differences seem to be insufficient for establishing a new taxon. Seuratidae Railliet, 1916 6. Seuratum sp . Host: Myotis chinensis (Yen Bai, Yu-do) Localization: small intestine. One injured mala specimen found. Description: cuticular surface of body with transverse rings, and numerous longitudinal lines consisting of minute spines. Lines extending from region of nerve ring nearly to anus . Body length 3.I5 mm, esophagus length 0.39 mm. Nerve ring situated at 0.12 mm, excretory pore at 0.20 mm from anterior end. Spicules 0.088 mm long. Gubernaculum not suitable for taking measurements. Tail length 0.13 mm. Papillae on tail arranged nearly as described for S . mucronatum (Rud., 1809) by others (BI0CCA CHABAUD, 1951). 161
