Hine species of parasitic nematodes collected from 16 species of Chiroptera in North Vietnam are reported. Pour new species: Strongylacantha longicaudata sp . n . (host: Rhinolophus affinis ); Molinostrongylus scotophili sp . n . (host: Scotophilus temmincki ): Capillaria vietnamensis sp . n.(host Scotophilus temmincki); Capillaria rhinolophi sp . n. (host Rhinolophus sinicus) are described. Further nematodes found were Strongylacantha rhinolophi Yamaguti, 1935; Molinostrongylus~alatus (Ortlepp, 1932); Nycteridostrongylus uncicollis Baylis, 1930; Seuratum sp .; Capillaria sp . In November-December 1971, Dr. I. MATSKÁSI, and Dr. Gy. TOPÁL, zoologists of the Hungarian Hatural History Museum, Budapest, made a study trip to North Vietnam. During this journey 55 specimens of 16 species of bats from four regions of the country were collected. The extracted nematodes were preserved in 4 per cent formaldehyde in the field. The brief description of localities and collecting data are given below. 1. Sapa. In two caves of the Ta-phinh basin at 1400 m a.s.l. the following bat species were collected(numbers in parentheses indicate the number of specimens examined for each species); Rhinolophus sinicus (6), Myotis chinensis (2), M. laniger (2), M. siligorensis (l), Miniopterus fuliginosus (4).
