In 1846 the lawcourt split into two, primarily due to the increased number of bankruptcy cases, the bankruptcy cases were tried by a separate civil lawcourt; the criminal lawcourt had delivered sentences in criminal cases (robberies, homicides, false coining, rebellions, abortions, acts of violence, etc.). Besides the above mentioned collective fonds we would like to draw your attention to the followings. First of all to our collection of 124 certificates created before 1526, the year of losing the Mohács Battle, the Ante Mohácsiam (1229-1525). The originators of the collection had increased the old documents owned by the county by documents taken from families and other inheritance documents. The oldest document of our Archive is the Deed of Gift of Andrew II issued on December 25, 1229. The collection of different letters originating from the era of Rákóczi Ferenc 11 is also interesting (1653-1720). The Archival Collection of the Last Will and Testaments is an extremely valuable social historical source. This collection of last testaments announced at county conventions, created by legal cooperation of county officers, or put directly into the Archive by the 166
