House. The Löwy-Alkalay Co, centre of the contemporary Hebrew literature in Hungary, founded in 1875, set the aim of patronizing the classic Hebrew literature. In the years of the turn of the century several smaller workshops produced already Hebrew prints in Pozsony. In 1933 S. Bettelheim compiled a type-written manual to the bibliography of the publications of the Pozsony Hebrew Printing Houses. In the columns of the periodical Kirjath Sepher J. Kohn and N. Ben-Menachem attempted to collect the whole material. With the inclusion of this material and of the Hebraica material to be found in libraries of Hungary, the Hebraica of Pozsony will be comprised in the Bibliographia Hungáriáé Hebraica in preparation. 391
