Description - Measurements in mm: body length 3.30 (holotype), 3.27-4.18 (paratypes); wing length 3.13 (holotype), 2.96-3.88 (paratypes); wing width: (wrinkled, ca.) 1.21, 1.08-1.46. Colour: basic colour brownish grey. Arista light brown. Black spot between eye and antennái base just reaching lunule. Clypeus grey, palpi greyish yellow. Sagittal line of frons yellowish grey, a pair of para-sagittal narrow darker brown stripes of frons, a pair of darker brown acrostichal stripes on mesonotum present. Central part of scutellum greyish brown. A darker stripes over dorsal edge of katepisternum discernible. Lateral edges of abdominal tergites 2 to 5 (i.e. ventrally turned edges) with dark brown spots. Abdomen otherwise yellow. Facial keel rather high between antennae and distinct down to mouth edge.
