Description - Measurements in mm: body length 3.04 (holotype), 2.53-3.41 (paratypes); wing length 2.90 (holotype), 3.02-3.79 (paratypes); wing width: 1.09, 1.10-1.32. Colour: yellow in general. Frontal plates, a pair of diffuse brown acrostichal stripes caudal to mid dorsocentral seta and central part of scutellum light diffuse brown. Gena below eye, proepisternum, anepisternum, anepimeron cranially and katepisternum dorsally with diffuse light brown patches. Black spot between eye and antennái base longish, not reaching lunule. Clypeus and palpi clear yellow. Abdomen clear yellow, in cases darkened as a consequence of rotten gut content. Ocellar seta thin, 0.10-0.11 mm, postocellar 0.11-0.12 mm long. Facial keel distinct between antennae, face evenly convex, rather than keeled otherwise. First flagellomere very narrowly rounded. Aristal cilia grey, 0.015 mm, longest cilia of 1 st flagellomere 0.02 mm. Anepisternum with 9-10 short setae. Prescutellar pair 0.19 mm long. Wings patterned (Fig. 29). Veins C, Sc, Rj and A-s yellow, other veins brown. Cell r 2+3 with 3 spots caused by dark microchaetae on membrane: 1 proximal longish and 2 round ones; cell r 4+5 similarly with 3 spots, proximal one before dM-Cu, also cell m centrally with a diffuse but larger spot. Stronger costal fringe distally to apex of R 2+3 consists of 3 setae only. Distal section of vein M 0.99 mm, intra-crossvein section 0.79, ratio 1.244, dM-Cu 0.40 mm. Legs yellow. Dorsal preapical seta of fore tibia 0.12 mm, ventral spur of hind tibia 0.085 mm long.
