Colour: thorax and abdomen greyish yellow, with dense whitish microtomentum, wings yellowish, diffusely browned sub-apically and around cross-veins, veins otherwise yellow. Head: Frons and genae yellow, orbital plates slightly oblique and broadened apically, apical part forms a quadrate silvery spot. No postocellar setae, ocellars only 0.06 mm. Anterior fronto-orbital 0.13 mm, posterior fronto-orbital 0.23 mm (holotype), i.e. anterior one much longer than posterior one. Black spot laterally to antennái base with 0.08-0.09 mm diameter. A distinct row of setae from middle of cheek down below eye present. Posterior genal setae scattered (8-9). A distinct facial ridge (keel) present, which is yellowish grey, constrasting the yellow face. First flagellomere definitely acute apically. Aristal cilia greyish yellow, max. 0.04 mm long. Palpi thin, apical half darkened. Thorax: acrostichal and intra-alar darker stripes variable as for their width and distinctness of borders. Two rows of acrostichals present, 3 pairs of dorsocentrals normal, katepisternals strong. Prescutellar pair 0.10 mm (holotype), 0.16 mm (one male paratype). Anepisternum with 6-10 shorter setae. Dorsal middle part of metanotum ("subscutellum") particularly strongly bulging. Legs simple. Dorsal preapical on hind tibia 0.11 mm, i.e. definitely longer than tibial diameter at insertion. Wing membrane light brown, except for clear apical margin, darker brown stripes in r 2+3 , r 4+5 and m cells (Fig. 28). Veins C, Sc, R t , Cu and A-s yellow, R 2+3 , R4+5 and M veins brown, cross-veins brown bordered. Stronger costal fringe distally to apex of R 2+3 consists of 2-3(4) thicker black setae only. Distal section of vein M 0.79 mm (holotype), 0.99 mm (a paratype), intra-crossvein section 0.77 (holotype) 0.825 mm (paratype), ratio 1.03,1.197, dM-Cu 0.26 mm, 0.32 mm. Abdominal tergites 2-6 with a pair of large, diffusely bordered brown spots, whose expression is variable, in some specimens they are indistinct. Lateral edges of tergites always with dark brown spots. Male genitalia (Figs 1-4) very characteristic. Epandrium not much higher than broad (Fig. 1 ). No surstylar lobe on epandrium but with some long subcaudal setae. Cerci (Fig. 2) not high, round in profile, with medium-long setae only. Parameres large (Figs 3-4), not only base but also medial part broad, apex abruptly narrowing and forms a reclinate curved apical process (Fig. 4). Aedeagal apodeme comparatively short, base broadened. Female abdomen: Abdominal tergite 8 very short, sternite 8 more than twice longer, epiproct pale yellow with a pair of medium-long setae.
