Papp, L.: Afrotropical species of the genus Diplochasma, subgenus Sauteromyia (Diptera: Lauxaniidae)
Discussion - D. (S.) albomarginata sp. n. is clearly different from all the other Afrotropical species through all the characters involved in the key. In addition, male parameres (Figs 3-4) are unique among them with much narrowed and caudally curved apical part. Etymology - The specific epithet refers to the white rim of wing apex of the species. Figs 1-4. Diplochasma (Sauteromyia) albomarginata sp. n., male paratype: 1 = contours of epandrium and cerci, caudal view; 2 = genitalia, lateral view; 3 = parameres, anterior view; 4 = apical part ofparamere, in broadest (a sublateral-subanterior) view. Scale bars: 0.1 mm for Fig. 4, 0.2 mm for Figs 1-3
