Zezea with description of Amara angustatoides sp. n. and a revalidation of Amara flebilis (CASEY, 1918). Review of the American impuncticollis-group of sg. Amara s. str. with revalidation of Amara otiosa CASEY, 1918, and Amara turbata CASEY, 1918. Revision of the Palaearctic group of Amara (Celia) infima (DUFTSCHMID, 1812) with the new Mongolian species Amara necinfima sp. n. and Amara gobialtaica sp. n. from the Mongolian and Amara mixaltaica sp. n. from Russian and Mongolian Altai. A short review of the Asiatic species of the group Amara (Reductocelia) stricticeps BALIANI, 1932 with the new species Amara cholashanensis sp. n., Amara muliensis sp. n., Amara daochengensis sp. n., Amara daxueshanensis sp. n. and Amara markamensis sp. n., all from China. Eight new species and one new subspecies of different subgenera are described: Amara (Amara) katajewi sp. n. from China, Amara (Paracelia) erberi sp. n. from Yemen, Amara (Paracelia) simplex omanensis ssp. n. from Oman, Amara (Bradytulus) astrophila sp. n., Amara (Bradyluhts) mopsa sp. n. and Amara (Bradytul'us

) nyingtriensis sp. n., Amara (Niphobles) curtonotoides sp. n., Amara (Curtonotus) involans sp. n. and Amara (Curtonotus yupeiyuae sp. n., all from China. With 208 figures. EINLEITUNG Im Zuge der Neubearbeitung der Amara-Bestände in den großen Museen der USA (Washington, D. C, San Francisco, Cal., Cambridge, Mass., Chicago, 111., Ithaca, N. Y., New York, N. Y. und andere) und Kanadas (Edmonton, Ottawa) wurden neue Erkenntnisse gewonnen, die bei einigen Arten des sg. Zezea und der schwierigen Gruppe der Amara (Amara) impuncticollis (SAY, 1823) eine Neubewertung erforderlich machten. So wurde die Revalidisierung einiger, vom exzel-
