Aedeagus as in Fig. 10. Length 5.2-6.2 mm. Type material - Holotype (male): Laos, Champassak Prov., Dong Hua Xao NBCA, 2 km S of Nong Luang village, the bank of Touay-Guai stream, 15°4'N, 106°13'E, 800 m, 1-5 April 1998. (HNHM). Paratypes: same locality, 2 males, 1 female (HNHM, 1 ex. - LM). Remarks - Belongs to the group with modified elytra of male, however modi­fication is very feeble in this species. Near M. scutellaris KlMOTO, 1989 but colour is different and male without tuft of hairs on elytra near scutellum. 22 Figs 14-22. 14-16.
