Sermyloides foveatus sp. n. (Galerucinae) (Fig. 22) Description - Fulvous, antennae except segment 1 and metasternum black, hindfemora piceous. Male. Body ovate. Head impunctate, moderately concave before antennae bases, anterior part of this concavity with tubercle bearing two groups of erect setae; clypeus with transverse ridge, bituberculate in middle, each tubercle with erect seta. Antennae reach apical slope of elytra, proportions of segments are as 16-2-13-12-10-10-10-9-9-8-10; segment 3 distinctly curved (Fig. 22). Prothorax 2.1 times as wide as long, narrowed anteriorly, lateral margins feebly rounded, surface sparsely punctate and microsculptured. Scutellum triangular, with acute apex. Elytra 1.45 times as long as wide, slightly widened to behind, distinctly punctate, interspaces rather shining, with feeble microsculpture; each elytron with round groove near base between humerus and scutellum. Length 5-5.6 mm. - Female. Head simple, third antennái segment straight, elytra without basal groove. Length 5-5.5 mm. Type material - Holotype (male): Laos, Champassak Prov., Dong Hua Xao NBCA, 2 km S of Nong Luang village, the bank of Touay-Guai stream, 15°4'N, 106°13'E, 800 m, 1-5 April 1998. (HNHM). Paratypes: same locality, 7 specimens (HNHM, 2 ex. - LM). Remarks - Among the numerous species of this genus only two, both from China, have basal groove on elytra. S. wangi YANG, 1993 has however black anterior part of head and apex of elytra. Another species, S. biconcava YANG, 1990 has different structure of head and antennae of male; elytral groove seems to be connected with humeral area (in short and not very clear English abstract of description is said: "on each humerus of elytron with a shallow concave"). Dercetina rugósa sp. n. (Galerucinae) (Fig. 11) Description - Head dark metallic green with fulvous clypeus, antennae black with segment 1 fulvous, segments 2 and 3 dark brown; prothorax fulvous, scutellum black, elytra metallic green, underside fulvous with abdominal segments 2-5 piceous to black, legs fulvous with black tarsi. Body robust. Head impunctate, with deep transverse groove behind frontal tubercle. Antennae about 2/3 of body length, proportions of segments in male are as 10-3-7-13-12-12-11-10-10-9-10. Prothorax 1.7-1.8 times as wide as long, much narrower than elytra, quadrangular, with almost straight lateral margins, strongly convex, without any signs of depressions, impunctate. Elytra almost parallel-sided, 1.4 times as long as wide, humeral tubercle convex and impunctate, other surface roughly and rugosely punctate, shining, with interspaces smaller than diameter of punctures; lateral part of elytra with more or less distinct 1 or 2 ridges. Segment 1 of anterior and mid tarsi feebly thickened in male, as wide as segment 2. Aedeagus thin and long, slightly curved in lateral view (Fig. 11). Length of male 5.9-6 mm, of female 6.8 mm.
