This species is named after my mother SOEKHNANDAN. Euconnus elsjeae sp. n. (Fig. 11) Holotype d Suriname: Palumeu, 30.III. 1986, MAKHAN (only the holotype). Description (holotype d ). Colour of head, pronotum, elytra and leg brown. Total length 1.30 mm, width 0.55 mm. Head about as long as wide, with brown setae, also on the area between the eyes and clypeus. Eyes large and with fine facets. Antennae brown with brown setae, with a four­segmented club, 7th, 8th and 9th antennái segments are wider than long, 10 oval, 10th is as long as the 7th + 8th.
