Description (holotype d). Colour of head, pronotum, elytra and legs brown. Total length 1.30 mm, width 0.60 mm. Head about as long as wide, with brown setae, also on the area between the eyes and clypeus. Eyes large and with coarse facets. Antennae brown, with brown setae, with a four-segmented club, 7th antennái segment is rounded, 8th and 9th are wider than long, 10th oval, 10th is as long as the 8th + 9th. Pronotum longer than wide, widest at the base with brown setae Elytra oval, widest at the middle, with brown setae, depressions absent. Scutellum absent. Legs simple and with brown setae, femur swollen. Male genitalia (Fig. 9): páraméra with one seta, median lobe with one seta and with sclerites. Etymology. This species is named after my friend AWADRADJ (RONO) RAMPARATH. Euconnus soekhnandanae sp. n. (Fig. 10) Holotype d Suriname: Palumeu, 30.III.1986, MAKHAN (only the holotype). Description (holotype d ). Colour of head, pronotum, elytra and legs brown. Total length 1.20 mm, width 0.55 mm. Head about as long as wide, with brown setae, also on the area between the eyes and clypeus. Eyes large. Antennae brown, with brown setae, with a four-segmented club, 7th antenna! segment is rounded, 8th and 9th are wider than long, 10th oval, 10th is 1.5 times longer Figs 8-14.
