Hydrochus baloghi sp. n. (Fig. 7) Holotype: male. Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), outskirts of town, 22.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 391, lamping, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI. - Paratypes: 2 specimens, labelled as the holotype. One specimen, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), outskirts of town, 23.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 399, lamping, Balogh, Mahunka, Zicsi. Two specimens, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), Mamore river, 24.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 405, lamping, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI. TWO specimens, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), Estancia Esperanza, 29-30.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 417, lamping, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI, in the author's collection. Description (holotype male): Body elongate, length 2.6 mm, width 1.0 mm. Dorsal side shining. Colour of head black, colour of pronotum, scutellum and elytra greyish coppery and with a blue-green metallic gloss. Head with dense, fine punctation. Pronotum almost square, lateral sides with fine granules. Elytral length 1.6 mm, elytra widest on posterior third, lateral side with fine granules, interstriae wider than striae, 9th interstria convex, tubercle absent, elytral apices narrowly rounded, apical side with 2 large and 3 small holes. Male genitalia (Fig. 7): Basal piece short, páraméra narrow, slightly longer than median lobe. Etymology: This species is dedicated to JÁNOS BALOGH, leader of the Hungarian Soil Zoological Expeditions to South America. This species is similar to H. zicsii sp. n. but larger and the shape of male genitalia is different. Hydrochus mahunkai sp. n. (Fig- 8) Holotype: male. Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), outskirts of town, 1.XII.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 424, lamping, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI (female unknown). Description (holotype male): Body elongate, length 5.8 mm, width 2.0 mm. Dorsal side shining. Colour of head, pronotum, scutellum and elytra greyish coppery and with a blue-green metallic gloss. Head with dense, fine punctation. Pronotum narrowing backwards, lateral side smooth. Anterior margin of pronotum with 5, posterior margin with 4 depressions. Elytral length 1.6 mm, elytra widest on posterior third, lateral side with fine granules, striai punctures coarse, wider than interstriae, tubercle on 5th interstria very prominent, 9th interstria convex, apical holes absent, elytral apices rounded and broadened. Male genitalia (Fig. 8): Basal piece short, páraméra narrow, median lobe a little shorter than páraméra. Etymology: This species is named after SÁNDOR MAHUNKA, one of the participants of the Hungarian Soil Zoological Expeditions to South America. This species is very similar to H. tarsalis Chevrolat, 1863 from Cuba, but there is difference in the shape of male genitalia. Hydrochus pietersenae sp. n. (Fig9) Holotype: male. No. 428, beaten from vegetation, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI. - Paratypes: 5 specimens, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), Mamore river, 24.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 405, lamping, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI. Four specimens, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), river bank, 2.X1I.1966, Soil Zoological Exp. No. 428, beaten from vegetation, BALOGH, MAHUNKA, ZICSI (one specimen in the author's collection). Eleven specimens, Bolivia, Guayaramerin (Beni), outskirts of town, 22.XI.1966, Soil Zoological Exp.
