The whole plant with glandular hairs, leaflets 5-6 mm long, suborbicular or broadly ovate, broadly lobed. fruits strongly ribbed. 20. 02. D. Kováts". Thymus piperella W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. No. 136. which is the type, consist of four upper parts of leafy stems with flowers and fruits, one middle part of a leafy stem with flowers, some fragments of leafy stems, leaves and flowers.
