The specimens on this double sheet I. No. 94, which is the type, consist of sixteen leafy plants with flo­wers, fixed to the paper. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Veronica depauperate mihi An V. aphylla? 805. 1. F. 1. Ex alp. Zoliens". On JÁVORKA'S label: "= V aphylla L. Est! Keller Jenő 1942 revid. Jáv.". Vicia polyphylla W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1809: 282, tab. 254. - 4 sheets: XXIV. No. 104, 105, 108; LII. No. 89. Three of them are V villosa ROTH, one of them is Vcracca L. = tenuifolia, according to JÁVORKA (1936: 111-112). The valid name is Vicia villosa ROTH (1793), according to JÁVORKA (1957: 170), Soó (1966: 352,1980: 322), TUTIN et al. (1968: 132), PROKUDIN et al. (1987: 203), DOSTÁL (1989: 534). The specimens on the sheet XXIV. No. 105, which was designated as the lectotype, consist of five leafy stems with flowers. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Vicia polyphylla E. Cottu Liptov." On JÁVORKA'S label: 'V villosa Roth revid. Jáv.". * Vicia sordida W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. II. 1803: 143, tab. 134. - 5 sheets: XXIV. No. 131, 132,133; LIII. No. 69, 70. One of them is V biebersteinii BESS, according to JÁVORKA (1936: 112). The valid name is Vgran­diflora SCOP, var. Kitaibeliana KOCH, according to Soó (1966: 357-358), Vicia grandiflora SCOP, according to TUTIN et al. (1968: 134), Vicia grandiflora SCOP, subsp. sordida (W. et K.) DOSTÁL, according to Soó (1980: 323), PRISZTER (1985:164), DOSTÁL (1989: 538). The specimens on the sheet LIII. No. 69, which was designated as the lectotype, consist of four leafy stems with flowers and fruits (seeds), one plant with root and two leafy stems. On KITAIBEL'S label: 'Vicia sor­dida in pratis ad Hatzfeld". On the author's label: "Vicia grandiflora Scop, subsp. sordida (W. et K.) Dostál. Glabrous, upper leaves linear-lanceolate, lower leaves slightly inversely-ovate broader than the upper leaves, legume pilose. 20. 02. 1992. D. Kováts". * Viola ambigua W et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. II. 1804: 208, tab. 190. - 1 sheet: IX. No. 178. This is the valid name according to JÁVORKA (1936: 113, 1957: 170), TUTIN et al. (1968: 273), Soó (1968: 402, 1980: 403), PRISZTER (1985:192), PROKUDIN et al. (1987: 104). DOSTÁL (1989: 734). The specimens on this sheet IX. No. 178, which is the type, consist of two leafy plants with roots, one of them with flowers and two parts of plants with six leaves and two separated leaves. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Viola ambigua - X. 47 - Ex horto, in quern a clivis pesthanis illata erat. Pro hirta banc habet Willdenow. sed videtur diversa. Pro nova demum agnovit Willd.". * Viola declinala W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1807: 248. tab. 223. - 4 sheets: IX. No. 207; XLII. No. 86, 94; LVII. No. 201. Two of them are V. alpestris (Dc.) JIRD. according to JÁVORKA (1936: 114), synonym name is Vgrandiflora LERCHENF. according to JÁVORKA (1957: 170). The valid name is Viola declinata W. et K. ac­cording to JÁVORKA (1936: 114, 1957: 170). TUTIN et al. (1968: 280). PROKUDIN et al. (1987: 102), DOSTÁL (1989: 739). The specimens on the sheet IX. No. 207, which was designated as the lectotype, consist of four leafy plants with flowers and roots, fourteen leafy stems with flowers and several fragments of stems, leaves and flowers. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Viola In alpe Guttin et in marmarosiensibus. Pro varietate tricoloris declara­riint Host, Hedwig et Willdenow".
