Fig. 8. Aleiodes coxator (TELENGA): tergites 1-2.—Fig. 9. A. gastritor (THUNBERG): tergites 1-2.— Figs. 10-11. A. arcticus (THOMSON): 10 = distal part of right fore wing, 11 = tergites 1-2.—Figs 12-13. A. noc turnus (TELENGA): 12 = distal part of right fore wing, 13 = tergites 1-2 Aleiodes (A.) coxator (TELENGA) is also related to A. (A.) nocturnus (TELENGA, 1941) (USSR, Mongolia, Hungary) and to A. (A.) arcticus (THOMSON, 1891) (Scandinavia, England, Switzerland, Poland) in its behind conspicuously broadening first tergite. The distinction of the three species is given below in a tabular form: A. coxator (TEL.) 1. D wide, 1.6 times wider than high; nervulus issuing from proximal fourth of d; R only approaching tip of wing; pterostigma 3.5-4 times as long as wide (Fig. 5). 2. Second tergite subquadrate, i. e. slightly broader than long medially (Fig. 8). 3. Ocelli small, greatest diameter of a hind ocellus distinctly shorter than POL. A. nocturnus (TEL.) 1. D less wide, 1.4-1.45 times wider than high; nervulus issuing from proximal third of d; R reaching tip of wing; pterostigma thrice as long as wide (Fig. 12). 2 Second tergite transverse, 1.5-2 times broader posteriorly than long medially (Fig. 13). 3. Ocelli usually large, greatest diameter of a hind ocellus distinctly longer than POL. A. coxator (TEL.) 1. r2 1.7-2 times longer than cuqul (Fig. 5). 2. Head in dorsal view 1.75-1.85 times broader than long, temple half as long as eye (Fig. 4). 3. Second tergite subquadrate, i. e. slightly broader behind than long medially; first tergite just wider behind than long medially (Fig. 8). 4. Head, meso- and metasoma brownish yellow. A. arcticus (THOMS.) 1. r2 at most somewhat longer than cuqul (Fig. 10). 2. Head in dorsal view almost twice as broad as long, temple only somewhat shorter than eye (Fig. 7). 3. Second tergite transverse, distinctly twice broader behind than long medially; first tergite 1.4 times wider behind than long medially (Fig. 11). 4. Head and mesosoma black, metasoma rather brownish black.
