A. arcticus (THOMSON) : head in dorsal view The new species, Dendrosotinus titubatus sp. n., is closely related to D. anthaxiae BELOKOBYLSKIJ, 1983 (Kazakhstan: Turkestan highland), and they are distinguished by a few features of specific value: D. titubatus sp. n. 1. Cu2 narrowing distally, i. e. r2 and cu2 converging; r2 about thrice as long as rl and 1.4-1.7 times shorter than r3, r2 minutely longer than cuqul (Fig. 2.) 2. Ovipositor sheath not so short, 1.3-1.6 times shorter than metasoma (or as long as hind tibia). 3. First tergite with longitudinal rugo-striation, second tergite entirely chagreened except laterally. D. anthaxiae BELOK. 1. Cu2 not narrowing distally, i. e. r2 and cu2 parallel with each other ; r2 five times longer than rl and twice as short as r3, r2 1.3 times longer than cuqul. 2. Ovipositor sheath very short, 2.6 times shorter than metasoma. 3. First tergite roughly rugose, second tergite on its anterior half rugose. Upon this consideration it seems necessary to re-describe this species as well as to compare the species closely related to each other.
