Coproporus baloghi sp. n. Similar to C. ordinarius LAST, but has more slender antennae, paler colour, segments four to seven longer than broad, last segment pale yellow. Elytra not so densely punctured, but more strongly, area around scutellum broadly reddish, more shining. Head, pronotum and lateral and posterior areas of elytra black, antennae brownish except last segment yellow, tergites and legs reddish or reddish-yellow. — Head broader than long, shining, impunctate and without microsculpture; antennae with basal three segments longer than broad, third segment considerably narrowed at the base, segments four to seven shorter but longer than broad, eight to ten quadrate to transverse, last segment a little longer than the penultimate, bluntly acuminate. — Pronotum almost twice as broad as long, shining, impunctate, without microsculpture, broadest at base, rather convex. Elytra broader than long (4.75 : 3), shining, moderately, irregularly, finely punctured. — Abdomen with tergites very finely punctured, laterally and apically with long black bristles; legs with tibiae possessing a few short bristles. — Length 2.5 mm. Holotype: Wau, McAdam Park, 29 Aug. 1968, leg. Dr. J. BALOGH — Paratype: between Lae-Bulolo, Markham River br., 6 Sept. 1968, leg. Dr. J. BALOGH, in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. Coproporus biroi sp. n. This species is similar to a small specimen of C. curticornis FAG v., which species shows the same variation in size, but it has the antennae shorter and completely pale yellow, the stature is narrower and more parallel-sided. Completely black except antennae, legs, mouth parts yellow and the posterior lateral corner of pronotum which are narrowly reddish. — Head broader than long, shining without puncturation or microsculpture; antennae with basal segments longer than broad, the fourth shorter than the preceeding, segments five and six slightly longer than broad, seven to ten transverse, last segment as long as the two penultimate together, bluntly acuminate, each segment with distinct setae. — Pronotum almost twice as broad as long, shining without microsculpture, convex, broadest at posterior corners. — Elytra broader than long (5.25: 3.5), shining, impunctate, without microsculpture. — Abdomen with tergites minutely punctured and with alutaceous microsculpture. — Length 2.5 mm. Holotype: Stephansort, Astrolabe Bai, 1898. — Paratype (7 ex.) same data (Brno), in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. Coproporus tambulensis sp. n. This species is rather larger than C. partitus FAUV., and is differently coloured, but it has the same type of microsculpture of transverse "scratches" on the elytra except they are stronger especially on either side of the suture, the antennae are also quite different. Mahogany-red, basal five segments of the antennae yellow, others darker; legs reddish-yellow. — Head strongly transverse, shining, without puncturation or microsculpture, eyes slightly convex; antennae slender, all segments longer than broad, two basal segments more robust, segments three to five more slender, six to ten each a little shorter but more robust, last segment almost equal to the two penultimate, each segment with short outstanding setae. — Pronotum almost twice as broad as long, shining without puncturation or microsculpture, broadest at posterior corners. — Elytra a little broader than long, shining, microsculpture in the form of short transverse "scratches" especially on either side of the suture, narrowing slightly from shoulders to posterior margin. — Abdomen with tergites densely and finely punctured. — Length 3 mm. Holotype unique: Mt. Giluwe, Tambul, 28 Aug. 1969, leg. Dr. J. BALOGH, in the Hungarian Natural History Museum.
